Small and beautiful is the way to go

Small and Beautiful is a great little restaurant hidden along Blackstock Road – halfway between Finsbury Park and Arsenal.
The small family run business is a diamond in the rough, and a very well-kept secret. I only came to know about the place through a friend that lives close by.

There is a wide variety of dishes such as the famous Greek Kleftiko to Mediterranean Monkfish as well as offering a vast range of other dishes.

I have now been to Small & Beautiful twice and can honestly say that each time has been a delight. The food is always of a decent quality, serving generous portions, which are very filling. What’s more is the extremely reasonable prices; the last time I went I shared a started of potato skins had two main meals (kleftiko and Puffi Duck) and two pitchers of Mojito’s for about £45 and we were even lucky enough to get a complimentary Tequilla shot afterwards too!

If you are looking for a chilled atmosphere then this is definitely a place to go; the staff are friendly and helpful and I’d definitely recommend for a cost-efficient evening – there is also a deal if you order before 7pm with a set menu that offers a two-course meal for 10 pounds.
